I added a two new albums, the 1st with 12 photos called, "After Sergei", referring to Katia Gordeeva's life after the loss of her husband, Sergei Grinkov.  The 2nd one is filled with just some of my favorite photos of Sasha Cohen , Alexei Yagudin, and Matt Savoie. :)

These aren't predictions, but I think they've got a good shot.

I happy with all the outcomes except for Belbon & Agosto. I was hoping they'd get gold.  But hey, there's always next year.

After seeing the piece on her and her mother, I knew she had to win, so her mom could get her kidney transplant. Her performance was above and beyond what I've ever seen a lady skater do in one performance. And I was hoping for Sasha to win, but Irina's performance was exeptional. After she was done and started to cry, I just imagined her saying,"Now, you can have your surgery, Mama". She knew she just HAD to win. She couldn't just try her best, she had to DO her best, so she could have her mother with her for a long time, and not watch her suffer anymore. Good job, Irina.

I think the new CoP(code of points) that replaced the old 6.0 is doing great. Seems like everything is coming out fair. I'm starting to enjoy my favorite sport even more.  I think since the judges are anonymous, they don't feel the pressure from anyone to vote a certain way.  Since their country isn't shown along with their score, noone get threatened by their own country if they didn't score the way they were told to. Ya know?
